I am frequently overrun with assorted Cryptocorynes – these low-light plants grow like weeds in my tanks. The photo shows the extra plants I pulled from the jungle that was my planted 30L tank.

These plants are very hardy, but do not like to be transplanted. They especially hate to have their roots exposed – one of the things that will cause the dreaded ‘crypt melt.’ I have had very good luck with them myself, however.

My Kleinar Bar sword plant also occasionally gives me baby plants.

This sword retains it’s thick, wide leaves even when submersed.
